In a colorful world, there is a small dog who sees the world through different eyes. Her name is Stella and she loves color. Color on the walls. Color on the floor. Color everywhere. Stella Color for the Home is named for Stella's passion. A unique concept in interior design, Stella Color for the Home transforms works of original art into innovative and customized wall coverings, tiles, fabric, window dressings, area rugs, and more. Created specifically for the discriminating customer, these innovative art pieces offer a completely different perspective on interior design and provide a full range of creative options that have never been available before.

It was in 1988 that Lynn Krinsky, founder of Stella Color, moved the length of I-90 from Boston to Seattle.

The company became Stella Color in 1996. Stella means "star" and star quality service is what the company strives for, but it turns out that some of its work is "stellar" in other ways. Many of Stella Color's projects are for household names like Nordstrom®, Microsoft®, Neutrogena®, Hormel®, the Seattle Mariners, and Britney Spears.

A couple of years later, in 1998, Lynn began to dream about a new way of making wallpaper that would use a single room-sized design as a creative environment for children. After a year of planning, cajoling nine very creative designers, and printing images on nearly anything that would lie still, Stella Color for the Home is ready with The Imagination Series.

In 2005, the company launched FACADES - A fusion of art, home décor and storage organization. FACADES are custom printed cloth murals suspended from a track system. They are designed to offer a creative and flexible solution to everyday decorating, space and storage challenges. FACADES can be used to cover unsightly storage areas, create a drape around a bed to offer privacy, cover a window, create a room divider, provide closure to a dressing room or shower curtain, and more. They can be anything you want them to be. They are custom decorated and sized, and designed for use in residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
