Sue Zell, a Seattle-area textile artist, creates furnishings in fanciful ways with unexpected colors and textures - including images of old master portraits and Hollywood icons. After a friend introduced Sue to Stella Color's dye-sublimation fabric services, a new world of possibilities opened up when she found that she could have any image transferred to upholstery-worthy fabric. Since then, Sue is a regular at high-end local Craft Fairs such as the Bellevue Art Museum Craft Fair and the Best of the Northwest. She has expanded by adding a line of decorator pillows and has taken her show on the road as far as Santa Monica and Chicago.
